High School Students

Program Structure

NACDA offers two structured training programs designed to build foundational and defensive cybersecurity skills.


Program 1

Network Architecture Foundations

Duration: 16 Weeks

Students learn the core principles of networking and infrastructure.

Topics include:

• Network architecture and design
• IP addressing and subnetting
• Switches, routers, and network segmentation
• Linux and Windows systems fundamentals
• Infrastructure troubleshooting
• Real-world networking labs

By the end of this program, students understand how networks actually work, which is the foundation required for all cybersecurity careers.

Students gain hands-on experience working with real networking scenarios and lab exercises.


Program 2

Cyber Defense & Security Operations

Duration: 16 Weeks

This program focuses on cybersecurity defense and system protection.

Topics include:

• Threat detection and incident response
• Network monitoring and analysis
• Vulnerability assessment
• Security operations workflows
• Defensive security strategies
• Real-world cybersecurity scenarios

This program prepares students to think like a defender responsible for protecting critical systems.

Students learn how networks are protected and how cybersecurity professionals detect and respond to threats.


Training Schedule

NACDA programs meet:

3 Days Per Week

Each session includes:

• Instructor-led training
• Guided technical labs
• Real-world networking scenarios
• Hands-on cybersecurity exercises
• Technical problem-solving activities

This structured approach ensures students gain both knowledge and practical experience.

Certification Preparation

The NACDA curriculum aligns with industry certifications including:

CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+
Cisco CCNA (conceptual preparation)

While certification exams are optional, the knowledge gained through NACDA programs helps prepare students to pursue these credentials independently.


NACDA Enrollment Process

The enrollment process is designed to ensure that students are prepared, committed, and ready to begin their training in networking and cybersecurity.


Step 1

Submit the NACDA Enrollment Application

Prospective students begin by submitting the online enrollment application through the NACDA website.

This application allows us to learn about your goals, background, and interest in networking or cybersecurity training.


Step 2

Application Review & Program Conversation

After reviewing your application, a NACDA instructor or program advisor may contact you to discuss:

• your career goals
• program expectations
• recommended training pathway

This helps ensure the program is a good fit for your learning goals.


Step 3

Complete the Student Commitment Agreement and Payment Agreement

Before enrollment is finalized, students must review and sign the NACDA Student Commitment Agreement and NACDA Tuition Payment Agreement

This agreements outlines:

• program expectations
• attendance requirements
• payment responsibilities
• the level of dedication required for success in the technology industry.
The Student Commitment Agreement and Tuition Payment Agreement will be email to the student once their application is approved
Once these two form are complete a payment option link will be provided.


Step 4

Submit Enrollment Deposit

Once the agreements are signed, students submit the required enrollment deposit to reserve their seat in the upcoming NACDA cohort.

Enrollment deposits secure your place in the program and are applied toward total tuition.


Step 5

Select Tuition Payment Option

Students then choose their preferred tuition payment option:

• Pay Deposit
• Pay remaining tuition in full
• Monthly payment plan

Payment instructions and secure payment links will be provided after your student commitment statement and payment agreement form are read and signed. Once these two forms are submitted, your seat in the NACDA training cohort will be reserved.


Step 6

Receive Enrollment Confirmation

After payment is processed, students receive confirmation of enrollment along with program start information and onboarding details.


Step 7

Begin Your NACDA Training

Students begin their training at the Network Architecture & Cyber Defense Academy, where they will develop practical skills in networking, cybersecurity defense, and real-world technical problem solving.
